SHABEEN
Shabeen is the younger daughter of her mother a single parent. Since Shabeen was physically challenged she was put in school at Association for Physically Disabled (APD).

Aswatha was a young girl of 14 and physically challenged due to polio when she joined Cheshire Homes in 1968. She was born in Guntkal, Andhra Pradesh and was one of 8 siblings.

Naina was a resident of the Cheshire home from a very young age. She joined Cheshire Home in 1992 and was affected by polio. While at Cheshire, she had undergone corrective surgery.

Roslyn is an articulate, confident young woman of 35 and joined Cheshire Homes in the year 1999 when she was barely 11 years old. She is the only child of her parents.

Vijaya Kumari N. is a talented woman who enjoys embroidery and likes to sing. Born in Hullahalli, Karnataka, she managed to study till the eleventh grade.

PRIYA MARY
Priya Mary joined Cheshire Home in 1990. She was affected by polio and had trouble walking. At Cheshire Home she underwent corrective surgery for her physical disability and walks almost normally.
