Philip Rajkumar is the Chairman of Cheshire Homes India, Bangalore.
"Since my school and college days, Group Captain Leonard Cheshire was a source of inspiration to me; first as a renowned bomber pilot of the Second World War and later for his humanitarian work. It is indeed a privilege to continue his humanitarian legacy and touch the lives of persons with disability," says Philip Rajkumar.
Philip Rajkumar served in the Indian Air Force as a Commissioned Officer in the Flying Branch from 10 November 1962 to 31 August 2001. He was appointed by the Ministry of Defence as Director, Aeronautical Development Agency from 1 September 2001 to 31 August 2003. He joined Cheshire Homes India, Bangalore in 2013. He is also the Chairman of National Council, Cheshire Homes, India.
