CCCA conducted a hockey tournament where Cheshire Homes was their NGO partner. Photographs show the residents attending the function and with the wining team from Canara Bank.
During the COVID Pandemic of 2020-21, Cheshire Homes responded by opening a Quarantine Centre for children and staff returning from their homes. The centre is well equipped with all facilities and class room.
In 2020-21 the Main Hostel Building which is 60 years old was renovated and refurbished with the support of donors and corporates like APPI, Kennametal Shared Services Pvt. Ltd, Omidyar Network India Advisors Pvt Ltd.
Installation of Solar Panels for lighting on the hostel building and inauguration by Mr. Ando San, CEO, Toyota Connected India Pvt. Ltd. who sponsored the project.
Kurlon Enterprise Limited contributed Kurlon mattresses, bed sheets, pillows, pillow covers and towels for the Children’s Home under their CSR programme.

Varshini H.K won a runnersup prize for a virtual Interstate dance competition conducted by Chiranthana NGO and won a runner up gift prize of Rs.1000/-
Staff of Robert Bosch Engingeering and Business Solutions Pvt.Ltd. participated in the Dann Utsav programme and fullfilled the wish list of 41 young residents during 2020.
During the pandemic since the residents are confined indoors a gym for senior and junior residents is established and is in use.
Diwali celebrations with support from First Source was celebrated and appreciated by the residents.
05-06-2020: The physically challenged girls of Cheshire Homes India,Bangalore consider it an honour to prepare a poster dedicated to World Environmental Day.
22-04-2020:Earth day emphasizing the impact of the climate change to the environment because of human actions was highlighted and the need to conserve and protect the environment from further harm. An earth day chart was enthusiastically prepared by the girls.
05-04-2020:To dispel the darkness spread by Corna virus, and to move towards light and hope, residents and staff lit Diyas and candles.
24-03-2020:Sentization awareness programme on the origin of Corona virus and its symptoms and its impact worldwide was described to the residents. A chart in sign language depicting preventive measures was prepared.
25-02-2020:A fire drill was organized through AM Fire Services.
16-02-2020 and 23-02-2020:Two story telling sessions were conducted on 16th and 23rd Feb,2020 by Ms. Aardhra Krishna.
04-02-2020:Birthday celebration of residents born in the month of FebruaryFounders of Kabbage INC, USA.

18-01-202: As part of the birthday celebration of their son, The Gupta family sponsored snacks and a Magic show.
12-01-2020: Medical Easy, a trust arranged a health check-up camp for 19 residents at Arya Samaj, Indiranagar. They provided transport and lunch. They have also distributed some medicines that were required for individuals based on the report.
06-01-2020 :Mr. Rohit Vasudeo Acharekar and Dr. Namrata Singh of Ride for India interacting with the residents on the importance of Right to Education and dreaming big.
27th to 30th -12-2019: Sports Meet for the Deaf - the VII National Deaf Junior and Sub Juniors Sports Championship held at Kozhikode, Kerala. Sneha to the right is the winner of several prizes

23-11-2019: Volunteers from Robert Bosch company helping residents to prepare greeting cards. Several other voluntary programmes were conducted for interaction with residents, gardening, etc.
13-11-2019: A programme was conducted on campus for registration under Special Employment Exchange
11-11-2019: Children from Golden Enclave apartments made rangolis and painted diyas for Diwali in their complex and collected money from the residents living in Golden Enclave and purchased materials for Cheshire Home
26-09-2019 : Residents participated in fancy dress competition on Founder’s day.
12-09-2019: Our residents studying in SKID school participated in the sports event conducted by Karnataka Sports Federation of the Deaf held at Mandya and won prizes.
21-08-2019: Residents performed a dance sponsored by First Source Company at Radisson Blue Hotel
8/7/2019: Inspired by the children one staff from Kabbage India started supplying fruits for 40 residents daily.
July 2019: Birthdays of the residents are celebrated on the 1st Friday of every month for all children born in that month. Kabbage India has sponsored this programme for a year.
5/7/2019: Goldman Sachs conducted a Career Orientation programme in 2 batches of around 60 persons, for our residents, SSLC students from Sheila Kothavala institute for the Deaf and Students from JSS Mysore
28/06/2019: 40 volunteers from Goldman Sachs spent a day gardening.
15/6/2019: 25 Volunteers from BOSCH spent a day gardening and repotting plants.
14-06-2019: Cutting ribbon for the installation of the new lift
The new dormitory and elevator block was inaugurated at the Whitefield home to increase the capacity of residents to around 35 persons.

7/4/2019: After the exams all the residents went on an exposure to the Planetarium, Vishweshwaraya Museum and the Musical Fountain
6/4/2019: Yours truly Theatre group volunteered time with the residents. They enacted short skits and had discussions on the same to stimulate thinking among the young people.

10/2/2019: Participation by Hearing Impaired Girls: 10th, February, 2019: Interstate Invitational Karate Championship was conducted by Shitoku -Kai karate organization. The following resident girls were awarded medals and certificates for their performance.
